The Elk Grove City Council held a special meeting on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting consisted of a closed session addressing three items: real property negotiations for a parcel at Bruceville Road and Big Horn Boulevard, existing litigation (Michelle Flock v. City of Elk Grove), and a public employee performance evaluation for the City Clerk. After reconvening in open session at 6:01 p.m., the Mayor announced a reportable action on the litigation matter, and the meeting was adjourned.
We have reconvened from closed session, and I would like to make the following announcement. By a 4-0 with councilmember soon absent vote, the city council authorized and directed the city attorney's office to defend the case of Flock versus City of Alkrove and all as identified by the case number on the City Council meeting agenda. With that, we will adjourn the special meeting at 6:01 p.m.
