Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among men and women combined in the United States.

And though incident rates of colorectal cancer among adults under the age of 50 have increased in recent years, it is one of the most preventable and treatable forms of cancer when detected early through recommended screening, underscoring the importance of early awareness and prevention.
