- By a 5–0 vote, the council authorized the city attorney’s office to initiate litigation in one matter; the defendants and details are not subject to disclosure at this time, but will be disclosed upon inquiry once litigation is filed.

All right, we have reconvened from closed session. I have the following two disclosure items. By a five to zero vote, the city council authorized and directed the city attorney's office to defend the cases of CART versus the City of Elkgrove and all, and Vaden v. Sacramento Sheriff Office and all as identified by the case number on the City Council meeting agenda. Also by a five to zero vote, the city council authorized the city attorney's office to initiate litigation in one matter. The name of the defendants and details are not subject to disclosure at this time. Once litigation is filed, the information will be disclosed to any person upon inquiry. So with that, I will adjourn the special meeting at 6.01 p.m.
