Meeting Transcript
Okay, I'd like to welcome everybody to the uh City of Evansville Board of Public Safety meeting. It is our tenth scheduled meeting. We do have a little situation in that we will not have a quorum today, so we won't be able to vote on anything, but I believe we would we'll be able to open some bids and conduct maybe any information uh business that maybe information to us or something. Um before we start, would we all stand for the pledge allegiance? Pledge allegiance. We do the flag, the United States, the Republic for which it stands. One nation under God, individual with liberty, is for all. Is uh Mr. McNeil here by chance? Mr. McNeil, if you want to come forward, we won't be able to approve or not approve your permit, but we can hear a little bit about what's what you have going on. Okay, um last time I got a permit from you guys was back in 21. When I was uh would you please state your name? Uh yes, I'm sorry, and address for the record. Tydale McNeil, 1418 Adams Avenue. Thank you. Oh okay. As I was saying back in 21, uh you guys gave me a permit that I was working on the trailer at the time, um, before the uh health department to come out and inspect it to issue my uh excuse me, issue my permit, full permit. Um however um I completely finish the uh trailer. I still have a few more things to do. Um I submit the application, and I'm just waiting to hear back from the health department on the day they want to come out and do the inspection. Okay. Once the inspection is done, then I want to have the trailer move to uh uh it's beyond the corner of Washington and Lodge. Okay. There's an empty lot there. So right now the trailer is still sitting in front of my house and just has to do some touching up and then uh like I say, see to come out and inspect it. Okay, so it won't be there permanently. You're you're just asking for a short period of time until it gets inspected. Yes. Okay, Mr. McNeil, we can't approve or or not approve it today, but we can take the information and as soon as we can get together with another board member or all board members, we can uh probably do a vote and uh Curtis will let you know. Okay. Now I I missed the last meeting because I submitted this on uh May 4th. Do I need to go down and fill out another one or no? Okay, okay. Uh do you know how much longer you think the trader will be there? Um couple weeks. It can yeah, probably. Yeah, I'd say a couple of weeks. And it's all depends on the like I said, the health department they call me and say you'll come and do an inspection. Okay, yeah. That's it. So I say yeah, two weeks. That's all right. I'll let the EPD know that you're still working with us. Okay. Well, you know, come and try to tell it right now. Okay. Thank you. Thank you.
