Um, tonight you're considering the approval of our first project labor agreement uh for the Port Gardner Storage Facility Project.

I'm really pleased with the negotiations between our team and our amazing labor partners to make this happen.

This agreement will ensure fair wages, strong labor standards, and safe working conditions, and it also helps open additional doors for apprenticeships.

It creates opportunities for women in BIPOC owned businesses to be part of building Everett's future.

The agreement includes important safeguards for the public investment and for the many hours of work that will go into building the facility.
