Fitchburg City Council Meeting – July 28, 2026

The meeting was called to order with a quorum of three members present. The council unanimously approved the consent agenda, reviewed three special event license applications, and granted operator's licenses to two applicants who had prior OWI convictions. The meeting adjourned at 6:03 p.m.

Consent Calendar

  • Hillside Heights Neighborhood Block Party (Item 5A): Applicant Holly Adams presented the event scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026 (1–7 p.m., rain date Monday, August 17, 3–7 p.m.) on the 5500 block of Beth Lane. The event is a simple gathering with tables, no bounce house or planned activities. Adams noted the road resurfacing project in the area is expected to be completed before the event. The block party will not block the only driveway on Beth Lane. Council received a motion and approved the license unanimously.
