Yeah, your next item this evening is going to be business from the floor.

Okay, business from the floor is the public's opportunity to address the city council concerning any item within the city council's jurisdiction that is not on the agenda.

Please keep in mind that the city council is generally prohibited from discussing or taking action on any item that is not on the agenda.

Public comments are limited to no more than three minutes.

There's a speaker timer on the podium in front of you that displays the time you have remaining of your three minutes.

The color will change to yellow when you have 30 seconds left and turn to red and blink when you have three minutes when your three minutes are complete.

We ask that everyone respect the three minute limit to ensure that all speakers have equally have equal opportunity to address the city council.

And we do have some requests to speak.

Good evening, Madam Mayor, Vice Mayor, Council members.

Many of you recognize me who is often sitting uh at this seat right here.

Tonight I come not only as an employee of City of Folsom, but as a resident, husband, father, and a coach to many.

I have an employee and a resident of Folsom for over 20 years.

My name is Bob Triplett, and I'm my family and I reside in District 2.

Being an employee and a resident has afforded me the opportunity to be a keyed in on local government.

I come tonight to not share I come tonight to share my story that could easily affect you or your loved ones.

On October 2nd, 2023, there was a brutal stabbing at Livermore Park, and those involved are homeless.

On that morning, I was called out to conduct CSI crime scene investigation.

I will leave out many of the details, but remember this gruesome stabbing occurred at a public restroom at Livermore Park.

While processing the scene, I had to remove the trash can, the trash bag from the trash can.

While doing so, in a careful manner, I felt a small prick on my right index finger.

Although the object was still inside the trash bag, I merely knew what it was.

I removed my gloves and noticed there was only a small amount of blood.

The small amount, the small amount of blood confirmed my suspicion.

However, we still needed to sift through the trash bag.

Not only looking for the item that pricked me, but the but possible evidence related to the stabbing.

With the assistance of my CSI team, we identified the object as one of those two disgusting needles, as you see here.
