No public comment was received.
- ID 26-669 — Plan Amendment/Rezone P24-00452, Tract Map 6419, PDP P24-00449: This item was continued to June 3, 2026, with no action required. It concerns approximately 8.47 acres at the northeast corner of East Copper Avenue and North Portofino Drive, proposing a General Plan/community plan amendment to Medium Density Residential, a rezone to RS-5, a 53-lot single-unit residential subdivision, and a Planned Development Permit that would allow gated private streets and other development standard modifications.

Good evening, everyone. Thank you for your patience. We'll go ahead and start tonight's meeting. Let's please start with the roll call. Commissioner Diaz. Commissioner Calandra. Commissioner Shergill. Present. Commissioner Criner. Chair Ving. Here. Thank you. Next, we'll start with we'll do the Pledge of Allegiance. Everyone, please stand. For everyone's convenience, I'll read the procedures for tonight's meeting. This meeting is being conducted in person and electronically. For each matter considered by the commission, there will first be a staff presentation, followed by a presentation from the project applicant. Testimony for supporters of the project would then be taken, followed by testimony from those in opposition. In accordance with section 13 of Article 2 of the Planning Commission rules and regulations governing length of public debate. All public testimony from those in support and an opposition of the project will be limited to three minutes per person. The three lights on the podium next to the microphone would indicate the amount of time remaining for the speaker. The green light will be turned on when the speaker begins. The yellow light will come on with the soft bell ring when one minute is remaining. The speaker should be completing the testimony by the time the red light comes on with the final bill indicating time as expired. All in-person public testimony must be presented to the commission at the podium. Any testimony that references race, religion, ethnicity, economic status, national origin, or any other classification protected under state or federal law in a derogatory matter shall be deemed irrelevant and would not be considered by the commission in making the sign use determinations. If you challenge these non-use matters in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raise an oral or rent testimony or before the close of the hearing.
