The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of Germantown, Tennessee, held a regularly scheduled meeting on March 10, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers. The meeting was brief, with a consent agenda of five items and one ordinance for first reading. Mayor and four aldermen were present (Alderman Tony Savaggio absent, but a quorum of four was maintained). The meeting opened with an invocation by City Engineer Ethan Skaggs and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Alderman Scott Sanders.

Good evening. Welcome to the Board of Marin Alderman meeting, the regularly scheduled meeting for Monday, March the 10th. We welcome those that are here with us this evening. Looks like we have some folks from the media. We have English Meadows Legislative Liaison. John Johnson with us as well. Thank you, John, for being here. We appreciate it. A few highlights about this evening's uh meeting. Uh, just a couple things. We actually have a very short scheduled meeting. A couple of highlights. We do have an item known as citizens to be heard, and we encourage anyone who'd like to speak tonight to fill out a sheet and present it to the clerk or officers, and we will acknowledge uh those uh residents or non-residents as item six on the agenda. We do have a ordinance uh change that's on the regular agenda, and as I mentioned, we have uh five items on the consent agenda this evening. This evening our invocation will be led by city engineer Ethan Skaggs and our Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Alderman Scott Sanders. Please rise. Thank you, Mayor. Let us pray. Dear God, as we gather here today, we thank you for your guidance and your presence with us. We are thankful for life, thankful for all that has been given, and we trust your care over us. We pray your hand over us and your continued strength and protection for those in need. We are thankful and pray for your wisdom over our discernment. We are thankful and pray your spirit's presence. Your presence is our courage to get through our challenges. We bask in your light, Lord, and delight in your love and support for us and for those around us. All of our praise and glory we give to you for all these things and all of the things left unsaid. In all your holy names. Amen. We move now to item four on the agenda is setting and adopting the agenda. The agenda in the packet was sent to the Board of Mayor and Alderman on Wednesday. It was sent to the community as well through different uh means. Um at this time there are no changes or modifications to the agenda from administration.
