Goose Creek Planning Commission Meeting - September 2, 2025

The Goose Creek Planning Commission met on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center. Commissioners approved the agenda and previous meeting minutes, and unanimously passed a zoning text amendment to allow micro drive-through facilities in the Village Node district.

• Zoning Text Amendment for Micro Drive-Through Facilities: Planning and Zoning Director Kendra Wise presented a staff report proposing to amend Title XV, Chapter 151, Section 4.2 (Table of Permitted Uses) to allow "Drive Through Facility, Micro" subject to conditions in the Village Node (VN) district. Currently, drive-through facilities are not permitted in the VN district. The amendment would permit only food and drink sales. After discussion, the commission voted unanimously to approve the amendment.
