You've done a lot of work on Veterans Park it's looking good but the road right before Veterans Park and in front of it is absolutely atrocious. Something needs to be done and the other thing is I talked about this probably a year ago I think I talked to you anita drive we've got to get speed bumps I've seen speed bumps go on roads all around us and Anita drive is absolutely atrocious. And I do know we've had conversations about the condition on the road right there and work with somebody trying to get something done. Okay, great. Again, because the pedestrian crossing is not nearly what I what we want. So we're working with you too to try to get the we know where the speed drumps are gonna be. You can put them in front of my house if you'd like to. 343. 343. Josh is a year. It's it's the with help from the county. Uh we were able to fund all the projects. And yeah. Okay. There's certain like space. Yeah. Yeah. It's this year. I can't give you. I can't give you a. I've been there 40 years in June. It'll be 40 years I've been in that little house. Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. Yes, sir. Um, Eddie and David May. It's E. Edie, I'm sorry. No, no, that's okay. No, ma'am. Sorry about that. Um, and my husband is chickened out, so he's not gonna be coming up here. You should call him out like that. Yes, I did. Um, I just wanted to speak quickly about the um e-bike regulation and e-scooter regulation. Um, after really going through it with the fine-tooth comb and discussing it with some people, I'm very concerned about um the regulation of not being able to ride on any sidewalks and the uh streets that are over 30 miles or 35 miles per hour. And just in point in case, I wouldn't have been able to come here today if I had to abide by those rules. If I wasn't allowed on the sidewalk or I wasn't allowed on the road to get here. So it's um out of Goose Creek out of um Crowfield, there's all the roads are 45 or 40, and so it's like you're trapped. You can't ride your bikes, and there's not enough paths around to be able to get anywhere. So I know you had mentioned, sir, that you didn't want to stop people from going to work or going to the grocery store. I think you're gonna stop them dead in their tracks if we don't change that somehow. And then the other thing I wanted to bring up is um with the e-bikes wearing the helmets, I'm all for that. I think that's a great idea for anyone for the children under 15. But I don't understand why we're not doing the same thing for the e-scooters. Those things can go 35 to 40 miles per hour, some of them even can go 55. And if we're not going to require them to wear a helmet riding a scooter, why are we requiring e-bikes? And that's it.
