Um so just wanted to thank everybody for the Fourth of July celebration, especially city staff, uh, but also community members who came together for a celebration during the day, and then of course, uh the fireworks. Um things uh went off without a hitch, really, as far as I know, um, and just went really smoothly. Um, so particularly appreciate uh public safety presence as always, um, but also parks and DPW and really just the entire city, I think did a fantastic job um partnering with a lot of community organizations on Broadway in particular, but so many others also played a role um in some of the programming earlier in the day. So thanks to Michael for coordinating much of that, um, but a great community celebration and um a lot of things to go around for that. Um also just wanted to mention again, I mentioned this I think at our last council meeting, then we had a rain out. But we've got City Night over at Joanne's on Thursday uh at 7 30. So blue ribbons uh baseball game, city employees welcome community community members, welcome. I and I think first responders are being uh featured and honored at the game. So inviting everybody to come down and celebrate uh some baseball and appreciate our our city employees. Uh last but definitely not least, I want to congratulate uh the newest member of the senior staff team here at the city of Green Bay. Um the only other person maybe that gets his his name mispronounced more often than me, uh Chief Ray Futin Pheeton. Um I I just proved uh the point, but Chief Ray Pheaton, so congratulations to you. Uh we're really lucky to have you uh joining the team leading the department and uh as you know you've got a big supportive fan club here in our council and and uh coming from all the rest of us.
