Greenville Board of Adjustment Meeting – December 18, 2025
The Greenville Board of Adjustment met on December 18, 2025 at 6:00 PM in City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting was called to order, and roll call was taken. However, it was determined that a quorum was not present (only 8 of the required 9 members were in attendance). As a result, no official business could be conducted. The sole actions taken were to continue all agenda items to the next month's meeting and to adjourn.
Key Outcomes
- Lack of quorum: The board lacked a quorum (8 members present; quorum required 9).
- Continuance: All items on the agenda, including the public hearing on Todd Breed's request for a special use permit to operate a Tobacco Shop Class 1 at 700 E Arlington Blvd, were continued to the next regular meeting.
- Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned by unanimous voice vote.
Meeting Transcript
The meeting will now come to order. Welcome to the December eighteenth, two thousand twenty-five meeting of the City of Greenville Board of Adjustment. Um, Mr. Clerk, can we get a roll call? Roll call. Ryan Purdle, Carol Ann Bass. Here, Jermaine McNair. President. Jeremy Jordan. Clayton South. John Southworth. David Newman. Here. Sebastian Cresley. Here. William McCurry. We do not have quorum. All right, Madam Chair, you did a great job opening it. We regrettably do not have quorum, which means we cannot conduct uh official business. So you are pretty much going to be limited to continuing items to next month's meeting and then a motion for adjournment. That's basically all you guys have the authority to do. Perfect. Well, I'm going to do a motion. I call it yes. We're going to continue the items to next month's meeting. So we will put it on the top. Yeah, and can I get a motion to adjourn tonight? So in favor? All right, I have it. You did great. All right, thank you.
