Okay, I'd like to call the planning and uh Greenville Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to order. My name is Michael Overton. I am the chairman of this commission, and I'll be moderating this meeting. This time I'd ask that everyone turn off your cell phones and other electronic devices. And I would ask Hat Matzwell to please deliver our indication. Let us pray. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to serve our community by addressing the many important issues that come before us on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Guide us as we make crucial decisions that can significantly impact our community in the years ahead. Help us to make decisions that are well reasoned with the goal of making our city an attractive, safe, and inviting place to live, work, play, and raise our families. Our task is an important one, one that we should take very seriously. Keep us mindful of the fact that we are to make decisions based on what we view as being in the best interest of our entire community. I mean the planning and uh actually, I'm sorry, Kamala, if you don't mind, let's get and call the roll. Terry King. Here Doug Shray. Chris Sardin. Here. Les Robinson? Here. Michael Gulberton. Here. Pat Maxwell. Here. John Collins. Here. Ken Wilson. Max Ray Joyner. Here. Kevin Baser. Here. Chris West. Okay, and unless I am mistaken, Kevin and Chris, you guys are both voting tonight. The Planning and Zoning Commission was established in 1956 by the City Council of the City of Greenville. Its members are volunteers appointed by the City Council and the Pitt County Board of Commissioners. Zoning and text amendments are heard by the Commission and recommendations are made to the City Council, which ultimately determines the final action. This commission does have the authority to make final decisions on preliminary plats. Designated times and policies have been established for public comment. Your cooperation in following these policies is appreciated and expected. As this will ensure that this meeting is conducted in a professional, orderly and efficient manner. Motion to approve. Second. Okay. Motion by Les Robinson. Second by John Collins. Any discussion? All in favor, please say aye. Aye. Any opposed? Okay. Motion approved minutes carries. Go into old business first.
