Staff confirmed that 90% of adjacent properties are owned by the applicant, and the two other property owners would not incur expenses. Applicant representative Deb LaScalette described extensive investments and improvements, including new cameras and renovations. No opposition was raised. The commission voted unanimously to approve the name change.

All right, good evening to everybody. Glad everybody here tonight and all those watching on TV. Welcome likewise. Welcome to the Planning and Zoning Commission's August 20th, 2019 meeting. The Planning and Zoning Commission is a public body established by the City Council of the City of Greenville pursuant to North Carolina law. The Commission makes final decisions on preliminary subdivision plates and makes recommendations to City Council on zoning map and text amendments. And making its decisions and recommendations, the commission receives public comment from those interested. Public comment is to occur only during the designated time during the consideration of the item as allowed by the chairman in accordance with the adopted policies of the commission. Public comment will only be received during these designated times in accordance with adopted policies. Comments by members of the public outside of these policies and designated times will not be tolerated and will be considered as a disruption to the meeting, which will result in the removal of the offender from their meeting room. Your cooperation in ensuring that the meeting is orderly meeting is expected and will be appreciated. I hope you'll join us and bow our heads. Lord, thank you for this wonderful day, and we ask that you give us the patience and the discernment to listen to all those who are involved in making decisions tonight. We also ask that you give us the wisdom to make the correct decision for all involved. We also like to thank all those who came to Greenville. I think over 29,000 uh young people who came to Greenville and chose our city and our university, our home university to pursue their higher education. Lord, we ask that you give those young people discernment and wisdom to make good decisions while they pursue their education, also while they live here. We also ask you to give us a little extra patience as all our traffic is a little more congested than normal as we've got 29,000 people here.
