The Planning and Zoning Commission is a public body established by the City Council of the City of Greenville pursuant to North Carolina law.

The Commission makes final decisions on preliminary subdivision plates and makes recommendations to City Council on zoning map and text amendments.

And making its decisions and recommendations, the commission receives public comment from those interested.

Public comment is to occur only during the designated time during the consideration of the item as allowed by the chairman in accordance with the adopted policies of the commission.
