Um the senior you just recently put me on this board, so I don't know a lot about it, but it's been very interesting.

We get together on the first on the second Tuesday of every month from September through June, beginning at 8 a.m.

And anyone who has feedback or would like to speak with us is welcome to come.

We presently have a full uh a full committee, nine members for the first time in a while, I believe.

Um since the adoption of resolution 92-12 in February of 1992, this committee has been tasked to determine the long and short-term needs of the Gulfport's aging residents and recommends priorities to city council.

I'm sorry, I'm laughing, but you only have to be 50 years old to be a senior, and I don't consider that aged, but okay, whatever.

Prepare recommended we're also tasked to prepare recommendations on program priorities to meet the needs of Gulfport's aging residents, and to serve as an advocate on behalf of the aged in matters of local or regional resource distribution.

Recent accomplishments, this uh they recently put together the welcome to Gulfport packet.
