Meeting Transcript
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh. Oh, that's the one. I think we have no. Any members of the public who are here with us in the room or online who wish to address the planning commission on any items other than what's on our agenda tonight are welcome to do so at this point. Well not open the public comment in that case. The next item is the climate commission business is the annual election of chair and vice chair for this commission. And I'd like to say as I turn the position of chair over that it's been an honor to serve in this capacity this year, and I have very much appreciated the hard work and support of everybody in City Hall and our staff team and my fellow commissioners. I think you've done a terrific job. I'd like to make a motion to nominate Vice Chair Gorn to be the chair of the planning commission. Thank you. I'll second that, Mr. Chairman. Terrific. Any discussion? If not, may we have a roll call vote? Commissioner Hernandez? Yes. Commissioner Rems? Yes. Vice Chair Gorn. Okay. And Chair Reddick. Yes. Motion approved. All right. So give me the hammer. Do you want this chair? No, I don't want that chair. I'll just try to channel Steve Ruddick for about a year now. Okay. A little scary. Yeah. Um. So uh next up on our agenda is actually picking a vice chair, but we don't have one of the members here. Um I mean that I guess we could do it, but I'm wondering if we could. Should we put that off? Um opening it up. I don't know. Should we put that off till next time? Um Commissioner Reddick. I lean in the direction that uh you know our agenda in the meeting was was duly and fully noticed as usual, and we don't we don't typically skip items of business uh due to the when we have a quorum, and uh as far as I know Commissioner Del Negro has not expressed any concerns about not being here for for this part of it. So I'd be in favor of of pushing on, but I abide by the will of the commission, of course, Mr. Chairman. Um I have no designs on the vice chair, is you like this time? Yeah, it is. Mr. Chairman, I have no designs on the vice chair at this time, so I'm happy to concede to someone else. Okay.
