The proposal is consistent with the Hampton Pattern Book and the North King Street Master Plan. No public comments were received. The commission unanimously approved the rezoning with the proffered conditions.
- Youth Planner Report: Senior Youth Planner Helena Fulkert reported on the Hampton Youth Commission’s August activities, including their annual retreat, election of 2024-2025 officers, updates to bylaws and the Youth Master Plan (last updated 2009), and planning for a candidates forum on October 14, 2024, at the NASA Air and Space Museum.

Um for the purpose of electing officers and um changing September is the month of each year where we go through the process for leadership on the commissions. And Jules continue that process. Thank you. All right, thank you. We'll now open the floor for nominations for chair. I nominate Mr. Michael Harris for Chair of the Planning Commission. I second. It has been moved in oh, so that was not a motion. That was a nomination. Oh, that's right. So there's nothing to second. So we have the floor open for nominations right now. Are there any other nominations? Um more nominations, we'll call for a motion. Move that we elect uh well, what am I motion?
