The Hampton Planning Commission met on November 21, 2024, at 8:30 PM to consider several rezoning and use permit applications, a short-term rental permit, and three housekeeping ordinance amendments. Now we'll have public hearing items. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Uh the planning commission of the City of Hampton takes pride in being fair and courteous to all parties in attendance. Is it important that all individuals excuse me? It is important that all involved understand how the commission conducts its hearings and how all persons before the commission should conduct themselves. Individuals other than the applicant or the representative should have signed up to comment on the case and will have three minutes to present their comments. No person may address the commission until he or she is called by the chair. Speakers must remain at the podium or microphone while addressing the commission. Speakers who have signed up may not donate their time to other speakers. Please note that unless otherwise stated, the actions taken by the commission today are in the form of a recommendation to the Hampton City Council.
