Staff recommended approval with 12 proffer conditions. The applicant stated intent to join the existing HOA for the two new homes but not the existing home. Following a public hearing with no speakers, the commission unanimously approved.
- Use Permit Application 25-0103 (Copeland Investment Properties LLC): Request to permit a funeral home/mortuary (including a crematorium) at 611 Rotary Street in the M2 district. Staff recommended approval with 7 conditions. The facility will serve funeral homes, law enforcement, medical examiners, and similar agencies; no public viewing area. The commission unanimously approved.

Now I'm going to take a point of privilege and introduce our new member to the City of Hampton Planning Commission. City Council member, the Honorable Martha Muggler. So would you like to say anything or you have the floor? Thank you. Yeah, I'm very happy to be joining the commission. I've been on council for two years and have thought that the opportunity to serve on this commission would give me a deeper knowledge and understanding of the process as we bring developments and things of that nature before the council. So I'm really looking forward to the work that we do on this commission and working forward, looking forward to working with this particular commission. So thank you. Thank you, Councilwoman Muggler. We're looking forward to working with you and learning some things from you as well, as we found out in our planning planning meeting prior to this. But now we have the public hearing items, and I'll turn it over to Director Michael. All right, thank you.
