The Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency Board held a regular meeting on July 7, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The board unanimously approved consent agenda items, a micro-transit service renewal, a contract extension for Ocean Rescue Alliance, and a $2,014,205 funding commitment for a mixed-income workforce housing development at 400 South Dixie Highway. - Micro-Transit Service Renewal (R-CRA-2026-32): Authorized payment of fees to Circuit Transit Inc. to renew micro-transit services. The CRA's share is $488,699.06, with a total estimated annual cost of $1,549,000 shared by the CRA and the City of Hollywood. Board Member Hernandez praised Circuit for being "very nimble" and responsive. The motion passed unanimously.
- Ocean Rescue Alliance Contract Amendment (R-CRA-2026-33): Approved a 365-day extension of the contract with Ocean Rescue Alliance Inc. from August 29, 2026. The motion passed unanimously.
- Workforce Housing Funding Commitment (R-CRA-2026-34): Approved a $2,014,205 CRA funding commitment to Dixie Hollywood Apts, LLC (an affiliate of Affiliated Development) for a 394-unit mixed-income development at 400 South Dixie Highway. The total public investment is $6,014,205, including $4 million from the city's ILA gap financing program. Sounds like a lot of fun in here. All right, everyone. Welcome to City Hall here in the City of Hollywood. Uh to everybody who's here and everyone watching. Today is a regular community redevelopment agency meeting. Today is July 7th, 2026. Please rise for the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for the standard nation under God individual with liberty. All right. Hope everybody enjoyed July 4th 250th edition. And thanks to all the staff that's here that had a part in uh producing such a successful weekend for people that enjoyed Hollywood Beach throughout the July 4th weekend. Roll call, please. Any opposed, hearing none, show those pass unanimously. On to our regular agenda, we've got three items. Item eight is a resolution of the CRA authorizing the payment of fees to circuit transit to renew the microtransit services and an amount of four hundred and eighty-year thousand dollars in change, providing for a total estimated annual cost of 1.49 million to be shared by the CRA in the city. And I know we've got some grant dollars uh applied for uh from FDOT to contribute to this uh executive director. Any comments? Uh this is primarily a renewal of the contract. Uh obviously we continue to look at opportunities to expand and make the routes more efficient. Uh the CRA contributes a portion of the dollars to this, the portion that uh covers the service within the CRA districts of uh the beach and downtown. Any comments uh on a comment cards on item eight? No speaker cards. Motion to approve. Uh mayor, if I can add a comment to that is uh the circuit has been very nimble when it comes to some of the work that we've asked them to do. So I think that my my hats are off to them for the work that they're doing when it comes to providing transportation for our local residents. All right, we've got a motion.
