The Horry County Council met on October 15, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. The meeting included approval of consent agenda items, several ordinance readings (second and third), a failed rezoning request, service awards, and an executive session. Chairman Johnny Gardner presided.
Every meeting on time so we can finish on time and we start every meeting the same with an invocation tonight by Mr. Anderson followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mr. Allen. I can get everybody please stand. Dear father, please uh please be with those folks, our neighbors uh slightly north and west. Um comfort them and get them through this tough time and to be with our neighbors down in the south. Dear father, thank you for blessing our public safety folks who take care of us here and who've also gone to the other places to take care of our our neighbors who've been in a bad way.
