Carroll for recognizing our recent award for the General Aviation Airfield Project of the Year at the Ory County Conway Airport.

This award was given at the recent American Association of Airport Executives Annual Meeting held in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Engineered by Holt Consulting and constructed by Summers Concrete Contracting, the project rehabilitated the entire runway and taxiway system at the Conway Airport.

The project began in January 2024 and ended in May of 2024, 45 days early and under budget by 118,000 dollars.

Project highlights include improved safety by relocating taxiway A2, use of an innovative pavement crack repair material, and strict attention to erosion control and drainage grades.
