But uh I appreciate the opportunity to be here and to be a part of this program. And as I look around and I see all these smiling faces, it's good to be in these chambers when folks are here for a good positive reason, and I see all the smiles and everything. Even got some waving back in the back. We appreciate what a great occasion. We're so honored and we're so proud. And let's talk a little bit about Tina Hardy. Tina was born and raised here in Ory County in the Loris area. Um she has spent the last 18 years serving the citizens of Ory County in our treasurer's office. The role of auditor is vital, and I know that we share the very same mission to serve the citizens of this county with fairness and with transparency. Tina will actually be the 14th auditor to serve in ORI County. And I think it was established back in the 1800s, but it's 14 auditors, and you're the 14th. And I want you to know that today we have with us a former auditor's two child two daughters, Miss Lois Orville, her daughters are here today, and they walked in and stand up and let everybody see you. When they came in, they made the comment we would not have missed a day for anything in the world, and it happened to be yesterday happened to be Miss Lois's birthday. So what a special day. And we look forward to working closely with you and our team. I'm so proud of the team of elected officials that we have in Orie County. Work well together, work as a team, work with county government, work with administration, work with council. We got a really good team. I know I might be a little biased, okay? But we really do. We have uh constitutional officers with us today, many elected officials. I'd love to recognize every one of you, but food might be cold by the time I got through. But thank each and every one of you for being here today. Now it's my honor to introduce to you, Reverend Brandon Blair, senior pastor at the uh Langston Baptist Church to have our invocation for us. Preacher. Let us pray. Our gracious Heavenly Father, Lord, before we ask anything of you, Lord, we want to say thank you. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. Thank you for loving us so much, Lord, to give us hope. A hope for tomorrow and a hope for our future. Thank you, Lord, for allowing us to live in the greatest country in the world, in the greatest state in the world, and the greatest county in the world. Lord, we thank you for the many blessings that you poured out on our life. And Lord, I thank you for Tina Hardy. I thank you for placing her in the position that you have placed her in for such a time as this. God, I believe you have chosen the right person for this position. And Lord, we ask you to bless the work of our hands. Lord, give her great wisdom. Lord, give her great counsel and direction to lead this county with integrity. And Lord, I just pray, Father, that Lord, as she leads, your light will shine through her. And Father, I just ask you, Lord, now to be with us. May your presence be felt in this place, and may everything we do bring glory and honor to your holy and precious name. For it's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Thank you, preacher. Now, if all those will rise and we just do the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
