Good morning. Today is June 18th, 2026. This is the scheduled session of the Howard County Board of Appeals. I'm the chairperson Jean Ryan. The webinar is being transcribed. Board members, we're you've all received the meeting minutes for June 4th, uh, 2026. Are there any questions or comments about those minutes? Okay, seeing none, can I get a motion to approve the meeting minutes for June 4th, 2026? So moved. Uh first by Ms. Fearcuff. Can I get a second on the motion to approve, please? A second. A second from Ms. Phelps. Madam Minister, can you please call the roll? Chair Ryan. Approve. Ms. Fearcall, approved. Ms. Harris, approve. Ms. McCurdy, approve. Ms. Phillips. Approved. The meeting, uh the motion carries, and the meeting minutes for June 4th, 2026 for the Board of Appeals are approved. Moving on to our next order of business. Board members based on the general provision article of the annotated code of Maryland. There is a need to go into closed session in accordance with section 3-305B7 to consult with council to obtain legal advice. Is there any discussion regarding the need for a closed session? Seeing none, I move that this meeting be closed in accordance with section three, three oh five B7 to consult with council to obtain legal advice. The topic is rules of procedure regarding decision and orders. Can I please get a second on a motion to enter into closed session? Second. A second from Ms. Fearcob. Is there any discussion from board members on the motion? Does anyone attending this meeting have an objection to proceeding with closed section in according with section 3-305 B7? Seeing no objection, uh will the administrator please call the vote to close the meeting in accordance with 3-305B7. Chair Ryan. The motion to close the meeting in accordance with 3-305B7 passes.
