The board voted unanimously (3-0) to extend the issuance deadline by 30 days to no later than August 27, 2026, citing good and sufficient reason under Section 2.211A of the Board's Rules of Procedure.
- Subpoena Request (BA 828D, Hill Street LLC): The board considered a written subpoena request from Barrett King in the pending Hill Street LLC case. Pursuant to Section 2.208H, the board authorized the issuance of the subpoena as prepared by the Office of Law. Chair Ryan was required to sign the subpoena. The motion passed unanimously (3-0).

And I am the chairperson Jean Ryan. Today we are gathered on a few administrative matters, but first, uh, our board is appearing virtually, and I believe our council is uh in person. So I just want to make sure everybody can hear us and see us. Uh Ms. Phillips, can you hear and see the proceedings? Yes, I can. Okay, Miss McCurdy, can you hear and see the proceedings? Yes, I can. Okay, great. Uh so we have audio and visual on both. And um, and those in in attendance at the Banneker room, you can hear and see the the three board members in attendance there. Yes. Yes. Okay, great. Thank you. So the record flex everybody can be heard and seated and can participate in the hearing. Uh so moving on to our matters before us today. Uh the first is a DNO. Um, board members, um, in the matter of BA 25019C, Trotter LLC, uh, the board decided that case on May 28th, 2026, as you may recall. Uh the board is required to issue a written decision in order no later than 60 days after the case was deliberated, which brings a due date of July 28th, 2028. Um, the office of laws advised that they expect to have a draft ready for the board to review uh potentially as soon as today. Uh however, even if that draft was sent out today, that only leaves us four days uh for the remaining portion of the process, and that can be cut at kind of close. So accordingly, I'm going to make a motion that in accordance with section 2.211A, there exists good and sufficient reason to extend the time period of the issuance of a decision order in the matter of Trotter LLC BA25019C to no later than 90 days from May 28th, 2026, which makes the issuance due no later than August 27, 2026. And please get a second on the motion. I second the motion. A second from Ms. Phillips. Is there any discussion on the motion? Seeing no discussion, uh Madam Minister, can you please call the roll? Chair Ryan. Approved. Ms. McCurdy. Approved. Ms. Phillips. Approved. Thank you. The motion carries, and the uh issuance deadline is extended another 30 days. Uh moving on to our second and uh only other uh item for business. Uh section 2.208H of rule procedure allows individuals to request a subpoena related to a documentated matter before the board. The board has received a written request from Barrett King in the pending matter of Hill Street LLC, case BA 828D. As a chairperson, I'm required to sign the subpoena, and the board must issue it no later than 14 days before the hearing. The Office of Law has prepared the requested subpoena for signature issuance.
