Marion County Public Records Commission Meeting - December 4, 2025
The Marion County Public Records Commission (MCPRC) held its second and final meeting of 2025 on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the City-County Building T-260 Conference Room. Chairwoman Faith Kimbrough (Marion County Recorder) presided. The meeting covered approval of previous meeting minutes, receipt of notices of destruction from multiple agencies, and setting the next meeting date.
Old Business
- Approval of Minutes: The commission unanimously approved the minutes from the June 25, 2025 meeting. Motion by Faith Kimbrough, seconded by Kate Sweeney Bell, carried by voice vote with no opposition.
New Business – Notices of Destruction
- Nine agencies submitted Notices of Destruction for various records: Health and Hospital Corporation (2), Mayor’s Action Center (1), Marion County Assessor’s Office (2), Marion County Auditor’s Office (3), Marion County Clerk’s Office (1), Marion County Recorder’s Office (1), Marion County Treasurer’s Office (1), MSD Lawrence Township (1), and MSD Perry Township (20).
- The commission is not required to take action on these notices. No formal vote was taken. A brief question was raised about the absence of a representative from the Assessor’s Office, but no further discussion ensued.
Other Business
- Next Meeting Date: A motion was made, seconded, and unanimously approved to hold the next regular meeting on Thursday, June 28, 2026.

Okay, we're gonna go ahead and get started since everybody is here. Good afternoon and welcome to the Marion County Public Records Commission meeting. I am Faith Kimbrough, recorder of Marion County, and have the privilege to serve as chairwoman for these meetings. The MCPRC meets twice each year, with today, December the 4th being our second and last meeting of the year. I would like to begin with introductions and could each member introduce yourself beginning to my left good afternoon, everyone. I am Milo Eldridge and I have the privilege of serving as the Marion County Auditor. Good afternoon at this point. My name is Jacob Todd, and I'm proxy for Judge Collins. My name is Adam Wicker. I'm with Corporation Council. I'm Mickey Rogers. I am the proxy for the Marion County Treasurer. I'm Rachel Palencia. I'm proxy for Ken Pack for Indianapolis Public Schools. Kate Sweeney Bell, Marion County Clerk. Thank you. Let's move on to the first item on the agenda of business. Has everyone had the opportunity to review the minutes from um this the June's meeting? And I would like to entertain a motion to approve the minutes from June 25th, 2025 meeting. Move approval. Second. All right. Motion has been made, and there has been a second. Um all favor and saying aye. Aye. Any opposed, same sign. Motion carries minutes are approved. Moving to new business. Uh for the record, there are nine agencies that submitted notices of destruction. We have the Health and Hospital Corporation S2, the Mayor Action Center, Mary County Assessors Office 2, the Marion County Auditor's Office 3, the Marion County Clerk's Office, the Marion County Recorders Office, the Marion County Treasurer's Office, MSD Lawrence Township, MSD Pray Township 20. Um the commission is not required to take action on these notices. Are there any questions or any discussion from the committee? I think we should question that Joe O'Connor uh sessor office. Why isn't he not here to explain no? All right. I do not. All right, thank you. Um so the next uh item on the agenda is is the other business. So we're gonna set the next meeting date.
