Yeah, I did. It was good, but when politicians post on that, nobody everybody pushes back because we're just politicians. Okay. Um call my little notice meeting to order. And um we'll uh go around and introduce who is here and uh start to the left. And it is uh by the way, it is uh the October the 8th, and it's about uh four after three afternoon. Monet Holder. I know that's what's green. Oh, this is green, yeah. It's interesting. Sorry. Good afternoon, Monet Holder at large group one. Good afternoon, Jimmy Peluso, District 7. And good afternoon. This is Councilman Matt Carlucci at large group four. And um I I simply called the meeting because um there's a park that um I was approached by um Marcia Oliver and um one of my favorite people in life, and um Pam Paul Jr. Um to name after their beloved or Pam's beloved mother, uh Pam Paul, um, who anybody who knows Pam Paul, she has put in decades and decades of so much hard work um uh for the city and for the children in the city, and um and I I love her to death. I was so honored to be a part of this, and um uh she worked for uh the John Delaney administration for a dollar a year, I think. Yep. Um, and they asked if I would consider introducing a legislation um naming a park uh after her, and I said, of course I would. And um and so um I said uh to her daughter, Pam and Marcia um uh Pam's friend, both Pam's friend, to find whatever park, work with Daryl uh Joseph, and and um and just bring it to me and uh we'll put together a nice ordinance with some nice whereas and I'll uh bring it before the council. And I'd love to have but both of you as uh co-introducers if you'd like. Yes, absolutely. And so um if you have any questions, and then I will address the uh the fact that she's still living, and I will address this whole business of you know waving the code and all that because I think I can address that better than anybody on this city council. Well, thank you. Uh uh thank you, Chair, thank you, Councilmember Carlucci for bringing this to our attention. Um I've known Pam Paul, Pam Paul Jr., Marsha Oliver, um, for quite some time, and you're right, the dollar a year uh uh salary is well known in the city. Um she has such a huge heart um for the youth in this city for children, um, fought very hard for the children's district, um, and and finding a dedicated funding source for the children's commission. I only wish that it had passed. I think it I think it failed by two percentage points. Um, and it's just kind of a shame that it didn't, but but that's the kind of heart she has. She wanted to make sure that there was a uh a long-term plan to help make sure that young people in this city, children in this city, or were given um given a chance. And so I I certainly am very supportive of this. I'll co-introduce with you as soon as you file it. Uh I plan to file it at our next council meeting and uh Monday. Councilman Holrush should say. Thank you. Um, yes, similarly, if that's the word, when I first moved to Jacksonville and I um got involved with the junior league of Jacksonville, and um Pam Paul senior was one of our guest speakers, and uh from that moment on, and that was almost 15 years ago.
