Vector Mosquito Control Report for August 2025 (COM-25:036): Chairman Brian Emison noted several discrepancies in the report: total mosquitoes collected increased by about 550 year-over-year, but the average per day jumped from 7.3 to 73 (suspected decimal error); total inspected sites rose from 12 in 2024 to 60 in 2025; aerial sprays increased from 2 to 5, covering about 40,000 more acres. Councilmember David McClain asked about Vector's contract expiration (believed to be this year) and requested a future presentation on planned improvements. Councilmember LJ Bryant criticized Vector's reporting clarity, noting the company operates in nine states but provides no comparative metrics, and suggested the owners (described as two Harvard MBAs) could present via video conference.
