An ordinance to amend ordinance 17026 relating to the towing services in the city of Jonesboro.

Whereas the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas currently regulates the price structure for towing services for the citizens of Jonesboro.

And whereas this ordinance only relates to requests for towing initiated by departments of the city of Jonesboro, and whereas data has been submitted that demonstrates the rates established in 2017 are not in conformity with current economic standards.

And whereas the following amended language of chapter 66-83 is to be adopted with all other language remaining the same.

Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Section one, that sections of Chapter 66-83 shall be updated with the following language.

Section A, Chapter 2, change in the after hours release fee from $30 to $75.

Citywide base response rate from 125 to 225 dollars.
