The ordinance replaces Appendix 7 (ADEQ permit number ARR150000) in its entirety with an updated version, as the current permit expires on October 31, 2026, and a new version has been approved by the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment (ADEQ). The committee discussed a minor point about the agency's name (ADEQ vs. ADEEQ) but proceeded with the motion. A motion by Chris Moore, seconded by Charles Coleman, to recommend the ordinance to the full City Council passed with 6 ayes and 1 absent.

We do have a quorum. Next item is minutes, minutes 2603 from our meeting on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026. I'll make a motion to recommend to the full council unless there's a change. Second. Motion and second recommend full council unless you know to change. Anyone on committee have any comments or questions about the uh minutes? If not, uh please cast your ballot. Okay, next item is new business. Uh ordinances to be introduced, ordinance 26020. An ordinance amending appendix 7 of the stormwater drainage design manual, whereas the city council adopted the stormwater drainage design manual on December 18th, 2008, ordinance 08099. Whereas appendix 7, ADEQ permit number ARR 1500 of the stormwater drainage manual will expire on October 31st, 2026, and an updated version for adoption has been approved by ADEQ. Is that A D E E Q or just should be just ADEQ? Shouldn't it? I think they changed their name. Wow, A D E EQ. Now therefore be ordained by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Section 1 that appendix 7 ADEQ permit number ARR 1500 of the stormwater drainage design manual is replaced in its entirety with an updated copy of the permit. Section two that the mayor and the city clerk are hereby authorized by the city council for the city of Jonesboro to adopt the above referenced amendment to the stormwater drainage design manual. Make a motion to recommend to the full council. Motion and second recommend ordinance 26020 to full council. Any comments or questions by anyone on the committee? There is no public in attendance.
