Older adults deserve to be treated with respect and dignity to enable them to serve as leaders, mentors, volunteers, and vital participating members of our communities.

In 2006, the International Network for Prevention of Elder Abuse and support the United Nations International Plan of Action proclaimed today to recognize the significance of elder abuse as a public health and human rights issue.

You know, people are living longer every day, which is great, but a lot of responsibility comes with that.

So I've worked with these women in Plaque Counties and in Clay County for years at this point, and seeing the great work that's happening in the Northland, I do have to point out in the side that former councilman Fowler brought it to me a little bit ago.
