Bill number two nine eighty two, a bill for an ordinance, amending ordinance number B two zero two five-nine oh five as amended relating to the operating budget of the county of Kauai, state of Hawaii for the fiscal year July 1st, 2025 through June 30th, 2026 by revising the amounts estimated in the general fund for the Kauai How Road Parks parcel 800,000. Move to approve. Second. Wonderful, is there any questions from the members? Um I don't really have any questions. I didn't know if um director um Porter wanted to tell people what it is. So Mike Mike. Oh I don't really have any questions because we went over it all in first read and prior, and I'm pretty excited about it. But do we want to at least state what it is or have um this is one of the measures uh regarding the transfer of uh purchase of the parcel adjacent to Kapahi Park? Um we did have a few testimonies in the last one, and then so here I mean if it's pretty much just the purchase. I went through it again so that we don't have really a lot of details to share outside of the purchase. Um the this exemption for uh there will be an EIS requirement and everything coming with the planning. So this is just for purchase. So it's relatively simple. If if we want to ask any questions, I'm fine with that. I you know, I'm just trying to tell people what we're voting on. Yeah, um, that we're we're buying a three acres from the neighbor who is why who offered it, right? You who contacted the county first. I believe so, yes. Or at least there was a mutual decision to move forward for the benefit of community on this sale. Yes, and the community seems to be really happy, especially because of the parking problem.
