Regular Agenda Item 1: TIF Redevelopment Project - Burmood Investments LLC
- Finance Director Kayla James presented the proposal: construction of a 10,900 sq ft pre-engineered metal building for Nebraska Generator Service (relocating from Gibbon). Land purchased from city. Estimated total new valuation $1,107,190; current valuation $31,620; incremental $1,075,570. Annual increment in taxes estimated at $20,002. On March 13, 2023, the CRA recommended 90% of annual increment for up to 15 years, not to exceed $270,289 or certified eligible costs. Staff recommended approval. Dustin Burmood added details about the business (generator sales/service, Cummins distributor). Council had no questions.

We have no oral communication on finished business, so we'll move to public hearings one and two. And at the March 14th council meeting, uh, by majority vote, the table public hearings one and two pertaining to development of our reviews second.
