All right, welcome everyone. We'll stand for a moment of silence and then do the Pledge of Allegiance. All right, please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stands. One nation under God. All right. In accordance with 84 1412 of the Nebraska revised statutes, a current copy of the Open Meetings Act is available for view and is posted on the wall of the council chambers. Peggy, please take roll. Schmidt Stratman. Here. All right, awesome. Welcome everyone. It's always one of our best nights of the year. We get a chance to invite the members of the volunteer fire department up to present the annual service and training certificates. And so yeah, it's whoever's up for it. You guys will read off the award winners, talk about them. Yep. We'll get a chance to shake hands, and as we typically do, since there's a lot of you, we'll just stay standing throughout. Sounds good. Thank you. Um Mr. Mayor, members of the city council, city staff, and guests. My name's Aaron Jameson, and I'm the uh fire chief of the Carney Volunteer Fire Department. It is with great pride I stand before you today to recognize several remarkable achievements within our fire department. These accomplishments re reflect the dedication, hard work, and resilience of the men and women who serve our community tirelessly. First, we are honored to acknowledge individuals who have reached significant milestones in their years of service. These devoted members have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the safety and well-being of Carney's residents. They have faced countless challenges, worked long hours, and shown up time and time again in moments of need. Their service is a testament to the professionalism, sacrifice, and passion for protecting our community. I ask you to join me in celebrating the following individuals for their years of service. And as I call your name, please come forward. Tyler Vlasseen is not here tonight. He has 10 years of service. Next up is Matthew Begnoach. Ten years of service and joined in 2015. Congratulations, Matt. Next up. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations. Thank you. Thank you. Next up is Dave Krueger, celebrating 15 years of service. Congratulations. Thank you.
