The Planning and Zoning Commission of Killeen, Texas, held a regular meeting on December 9, 2024, at the Utility Collections Large Conference Room, 210 W. Avenue C. All commissioners were present. The meeting began at 5:00 p.m. following a workshop at 4:00 p.m. Commission voted unanimously to approve the agenda, consent agenda, and a public hearing item. The commission also agreed to cancel the December 23, 2024 meeting.
We'll go ahead and call the uh regular clean planning zoning commission meeting to order for December 9th, 2024. Let the record show that all commissioners are present. Uh first item on the agenda is uh approval of the agenda. I have a motion on the approval of the agenda. I move to approve the agenda. I have a motion and a second to approve the agenda. Any discussion? All in favor. Uh motion pass unanimously. Next item on the agenda is uh citizens' comments. Anyone sign up for citizens' comments? Uh seeing none, we will go to the consent agenda, CA one consider the minutes of the special planning and zoning commission meeting for November eighteenth, two thousand twenty-four. I have a motion on the consent agenda. I move to approve the consent agenda. I have a motion to approve the consent agenda by Commissioner Pockelman and a second by Commissioner Rowe. Any discussion? All in favor. Motion passes unanimously. Next um item on the agenda is uh PH one. Uh hold a public hearing and considerate an ordinance amending the Colleen twenty twenty uh the collen twenty forty comprehensive plan, uh providing for the amendments and the uh comprehensive plan implementation matrix. And I'll turn it over to staff. Staff is proposing some updates to the implementation matrix and the comprehensive plan and uh we are recommending approval as presented.
