Thank you all for coming this afternoon. We're gonna call this uh meeting to order. Let the record show that all council members are present. Ex are here. Councilmember Cobb is on Zoom. Can you hear us, Councilwoman Cobb? Okay. And don't forget to unmute when you want to speak. So you good to go. Councilwoman Cobb, there you go. You good to go. All right, thank you. All right. Um we will have the pledge of allegiance by Councilmember Alvarez, and would you all please stand for invocation? Most gracious Father, we come to you once again, thanking you for your many blessings bestowed upon us. Give us the wisdom and knowledge that is needed that we will make decisions for the good of all residents of Kalene. Continue to watch over our soldiers, their family members, especially those that are deployed throughout the USA and throughout the world. Keep them from all hurt harm and danger. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen. Mayor move to approve the agenda is Brennan. Councilmember Solomon. All in favor, yes, all opposed, no. Councilwoman Cobb, you can just raise your hand if you like. Are you in favor? Okay, thank you. Madam Secretary. Thank you all for coming out. One of the honors that we have for the city council and it for the city of Colleen is recognizing a significant person in our community that goes beyond. They contribute when they're not even acts. They are our volunteers. And this month, Council Mayor Pro Tim has the distinct honor of recognized one of those individuals. So if you are not a volunteer within the city of Kleene, there are so many opportunities, and we would love to see you standing right beside us to receive the SAR award. Count Mayor Pro Tim. The I want to recognize the person we're recognizing tonight. Umbodies Dr. King's statement everybody can be great because everybody can serve. She's a servant leader. Uh true to the idea of service. You may see her forehead, you may see her at the Girl Scouts, you may see her in one of the cleanup ditches, you may see her on everywhere, and you wonder, well, what else does she do? Then she shows up someplace else. She's the mother of five and a wife, and I'm gonna tell you she the whole idea of embodying service is because all of our family members get recognized every year with a president of the volunteer service award because of the amount of service. Um between the Girl Scouts, KBI, uh RHI, Texas, um, the mission continues, you name it. And that person is not other than Miss Janie Free. She don't like the talk. So you like to hear some more than me. Um, I just want to say thank you. Um, I couldn't do what I do, like he said, without my family. My husband, my children, they all volunteer with Girl Scouts, with YVC, with the mission continues with RHF. We support all of those programs.
