Uh, next matters of business are any items to be postponed or withdrawn.

Um, chair, myself.

Um, I have had been just the FYI for everyone and whoever might be beer board in the future.

There's a couple people that'll still be on council.

Um, I'm not counting very well.

Anyway, um, I've had some conversations with both Mr.

Johnson, um, Mr.

Byrd, and Officer Presley.

We have some cast.

Um, some folks that are out of compliance with their Cast class requirements and as well with a couple other things.

I think some of them may be people that need to turn in their beer permits.

So uh though we seem to be celebrating leaving um council for some of us tonight, um, if you would like to work on any of that in the future for those who are staying or through the 19th for those of us who are still around to the 19th, um having those conversations, sending out some letters, and those of you that will be here in January will see maybe some of those applicants um called to beer board, and that will be a new thing on the beer board agenda if they choose to come to the beer board and explain themselves versus come visit Officer Presley on a Thursday.

So what's that?

Or just getting compliance.

Yes, we're working on getting some people on this compliance.

Um, okay, Officer Presley, any reports from you?

No, ma'am, not at this time.

Um, at your seats, I distributed um an updated report.

Uh there are four uh cases before the uh hearing officers, uh two, uh Brother Wolf and Weigels uh number 84.

Those have both been resolved.

Uh greed orders have been entered and fines have been paid.

Um Beckard Head Tavern and Dayar Markets, that would of course um you will recall from two weeks ago.

The the board referred those on to a hearing.

Uh non-compliance complaints have been filed in those, and those hearings have been scheduled for early January, and those will go out early this or middle of this week to those permittees.

With respect to the beer fund, um, we have met and exceeded the budget for fines for this year in the month of December.

Um, of course, the goal for this was not that we would meet the budget for that.

The goal would be that there would be no fines taken in for a year, but uh we have exceeded our budget for that thus far.

And uh no other updates.

Uh I'll try and be brief and fast with this because I think this applies to about one person in the room, maybe.

Um a few announcements before we get started.

When I call your name for the business that are businesses that are applying for a permit, you'll come to the podium, state your name and address clearly into the microphone for the record.

Um if you are approved pending final documentation, you'll need to bring your completed documents to the business tax office during regular business hours once you've met those requirements.

If you are approved tonight, you can pick up your permit at the end of meet uh end of the meeting from Mr.

Byrd.

If you are approved pending final documentation, that means you have a number of requirements, uh any number of requirements that may be need to be fulfilled.

If you need assistance with any of them, including um getting your certificate of occupancy, which may require building permits and other steps to be taken.

Mr.

Johnson is not with us this evening from the building department, but Mr.

Byrd is um wearing two hats down there.

They're both invisible, but he will help you get connected with Mr.

Johnson if you need that.

Um and I don't believe we have anyone from Metro Drug Coalition tonight, but we're happy to connect you with them if you need assistance with any compliance plans or um education um from them.

Finally, as I'm chairing the meeting, other members will make motions in the fourth district if we have any.
