It is five thirty-four PM on Thursday, September tenth, twenty twenty six. I'll call to order the special meeting of the Judiciary Administration Committee to order. All members of the committee are present in person. And just note that each of the all of these will go into closed session. So I'm going to read them all for proper process. Doing business as Bennett O'Reilly's with notice of intent for revocation or suspension of combination class B beer or liquor and liquor license for the premise addressed. Two thirteen Third Street South Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Seeing and hearing none. That is approved. We will go into close session now and reconvene. All right, thank you all for waiting. We will we're convening back in open session at six fifteen. Gosh, were we really in there for forty-five minutes? Um, so the first item we'll discuss is twenty-six dash zero nine three five appeal of tax sit go inc doing business in sitcoin state regarding the denial of application for cigarette tobacco electronic vape device license at nineteen fourteen state road. Uh this is a decision of the review board, so it's a little different than the others. Um, this is a final decision. This uh the judiciary and administration administration committee voted to sustain the clerk's uh denial of the appeal. All right. Second one is twenty-six-ero seven eight zero application of tax sitco ink doing business at Sitgo on State for a Class A liquor license and class A beer license at nineteen fourteen state road. This I need a motion from a committee member. Uh, council president. So I move to not grant a license and they will need to be um unable to apply for twelve months from this time. That is uh motion is made by council president Dickinson to not renew. Uh excuse me, to not grant the new application, and um the applicant is unable to apply for alcohol license for twelve months from the date of decision. Second by council member Weston, any discussion. Uh Nikki, we're gonna use just two thumbs for this one. Okay. So um, Attorney Maddie, do I need to read the resolution? I don't think so. What do you need to basically for I basically said it, but I just want to know if you want it recorded that I read the resolution. Okay, let's just do that. Whereas the Judiciary and Administration Committee convened a hearing on the above entitled matter of September on September first, twenty twenty-six, receiving sworn evidence and testimony from various parties on the companion case found under Legistar twenty-six dash zero nine three five. Now, therefore, be it resolved by the common counsel of the city of Lacrosse that it hereby denies the applicant's request for a class A liquor license and class A beer license at nineteen fourteen state road. Be it further resolved that the council finds and determines that there is insufficient separation between the applicant and the previous license holder for the same premises. Be it further resolved that the applicant is unable to apply for an alcohol license until 12 months' time has passed. All right, the motion has been made. Any final discussion?
