Speaker 1

3:01

right, motion carries.

3:03

Uh before we get into tonight's agenda, I want to take uh just a minute to um if you haven't already heard, uh Lee Haremza, who we have worked with quite extensively for uh with Right Key on several projects for River Point District.

3:16

Um lost uh some family members tragically over the last uh couple weeks um in a plane crash.

3:22

Um, including his uh a son of his, his wife, and his mother in law.

3:27

Um we just want to let you know um, and we obviously extend our deepest condolences to um Lee and his family, um, and to those close to him.

3:36

Um Jason and uh Andrea been in contact with Lee.

3:39

Um and you know understandably we're gonna uh pause work at least for the short time to let him uh more and more on the loss.

3:48

So just for your aware awareness and and again know that um we continue to be in close contact with them.

3:54

So again, condolences to Lee and his family.

3:56

And um that's really all we can say at this point.

Unassigned speaker

4:01

Okay,

Speaker 1

4:01

uh, let's get into our agenda.

4:02

Uh, first agenda items twenty six uh one zero nine three, the monthly project management update for River Point District.

4:09

Welcome uh Jason Gilman to the meeting.

4:10

Uh welcome, Jason.

Unassigned speaker

4:14

Thank

Speaker 2

4:15

you, and good uh good evening.

4:17

Um I have a couple of things I wanted to go through uh on the administrative side uh the last thirty days.

4:23

I've been working on two things.

4:25

One is uh undergrounding of the XL Energy Lines.

4:29

Um you might recall we have uh uh quote from them to do it.

4:33

It is about one point three five million dollars uh to do that.

4:38

Um there's some uh a variety of things that we're working through with them.

4:45

Well one is just to verify the quote that it's all inclusive, that there isn't any uh hidden costs or things that the city would be responsible for that isn't listed in their quote.

5:10

And then the other thing is uh the timing of it.

5:13

We'd really like to try to sync the timing with the parkway construction so that we're not tearing up brand new park uh improvements, and there could be some economy of scale, you know, if there's equipment there and we're moving dirt.

5:27

Uh so that's underway.

5:29

We're also investing it.

5:32

We're investigating uh funding for that uh because historically there has been alternative alternate funding or third-party funding for these types of projects that are uh typically in the category of uh safety and sustainability or resiliency for uh power lines.

5:49

So we've inquired with XL about the availability of those uh funds uh through state and federal channels.

5:56

And uh so that's all ongoing.

6:00

We had a big internal meeting with our engineering staff and Andrea uh a few weeks back and uh talked through all this, and we're in contact uh week weekly with XL Energy.

6:11

Um another item is uh updating the the website for River Point District.

6:15

I've been working with Cherie in the mayor's office on that, and I sent her uh some timeline changes, updates, uh news stories, uh, some new photography, and a few other things, and she's uh working on that right now, so stay tuned.

6:30

I I would I would welcome you to take a look at the website too.

6:33

And if you see anything that you'd like updated, uh please do let me or Sheree know.

6:38

I'm happy to uh usher that through uh also.

6:43

And then uh just for excuse

Unassigned speaker

6:46

me,

Speaker 2

6:47

just for development updates.

6:49

I thought we could kind of do an around the horn with you know some of the uh different sites.

6:53

So 360 real estate on the corner by Copeland and River Bend Drive.

6:57

They tore down that building.

6:59

I don't know if you saw it's uh all demolished now, and they have it fenced in and they're grading.

7:04

Um Jeremy Novak uh last I talked to him, he said that they're revising their site plan to avoid that concrete monolith that's on the north uh or on the west end of that site.

7:15

Uh so we will probably have a presentation fairly short shortly.

7:19

I mean, within the next month, I would say, from 360 showing how they're modifying that whole uh site plan.

7:26

My expectation is they'll probably have two buildings rather than three, and the two buildings will be a little bit larger in scale.

7:33

If you you might recall that the front building toward the east on Copeland was just a single-story commercial building, that's probably gonna be mixed use multi-story now to rearrange things.

7:46

Uh and then moving toward the waterfront uh edge with lots 11 and 12.
