So let's begin with our first agenda item, the South Boulder Road Area Plan update.

So we'd like to introduce the team.

About a month or two ago publicly.

Uh and then we have some questions at the end of this presentation to start getting your input on the process as well before we go to council in just a couple of weeks.

Uh and so you might recall last year we had a conversation about area planning in general.

So that comprehensive plan identifies different areas of the city that would be suitable for small area planning.

So this is like a hyper-local planning effort where you can really get down into the weeds and have some fine-grained recommendations around land use policy, infrastructure, and so on.

Uh and in looking at that, we got some initial input from the planning commission.

We've since um identified a funding source uh and have gone through a procurement crop process to bring on this uh team.

Um so Civitas is our main consultant helping uh lead this project.

Um they also brought on board several subconsultants as well.

They're not here this evening, but you'll need them at some point in this process.

Uh one is uh CDR Associates, they're an engagement uh firm based out of Boulder.

Um V Consultant Consulting is a transportation firm, so they have expertise in bike, bicycle, ped planning, and other all other types of transportation planning.

Um, our local ref, their office is in Denver, but he's actually in Lafayette resident.

I believe he lives just outside the study area.

Um we have Civestruct strategy and development.

Uh, they're going to do our market analysis, and he's also a Lafayette resident, so he has a lot of specific knowledge and spends a lot of time in the district across the street working.

Uh, and so we have some good local knowledge on the team here.

Um, and then Stray Advisors, they specialize in special special district analysis.

So that's one of the things that we'll be looking at here.

Uh, and again, this is just one of the implementation projects of the Legacy Lafayette Comprehensive Plan.
