Welcome to the uh special meeting of the Lake County Board of Commissioners for April 23rd, 2026. Only one item on the agenda, item 2.1. Ms. Attorney Fetch, do you have anything to uh Commissioners at the uh last regular meeting? Uh this uh bid was opened. Um uh John Kirk from DLZ, our uh engineer uh uh rec recommended uh um awarding to the lowest most responsive bidder uh upon his review. He has since reviewed uh both of the tally sheets, and he is recommending uh that Grimer Construction be awarded and contracted with for the Lake County Fairground drainage improvement project in the amount of three hundred and seventy-seven thousand sixty-five dollars. Are we also approving the contract? It's award and contract, yes, commissioner. Award and contract. I guess I should just read. Why you know we got he should make it clear. Absolutely. It's Matt's fault. I did say awarding. I don't know if you were clear when you said it. I'll make a motion to approve. Is that you are you mo makeing a motion to approve award and contract?
