Uh Paul Began, uh Beegan Architectural Design.

2:40

Uh address is 15707 Madison Avenue.

2:44

Um, right next to where uh the blue cafe is gonna be uh going.

2:50

Also have my wife.

2:52

Karen Began, owner of the Blue Cafe 15701 Madison Avenue.

3:00

Um Blue Cafe has been uh go just about to finish our fourth year at our current location, which is on this same block uh just down the street from Madison.

3:14

So uh good news is we're still in business and uh need some more space um for customers and also for food prep uh opportunity came up to uh kick out the architect out of his office and expand uh the the corner uh tenant space uh so that the blue cafe could move here.

3:39

So uh that was uh permitted under construction uh right now slated to be opening in a in a couple weeks.

3:47

Uh flooring was going in today, so uh I think I think they're on track.

3:52

Um the other uh nice thing about this uh corner space on the building is uh right now in front of the cafe, there are sidewalk with the old brick.

4:05

Like we use you know, there's still some places in Lakewood that have the brick in there, which reduce the the width of the sidewalk.

4:12

Uh in front of here, there is no brick, um, and there's 12 and a half feet of of sidewalk that's there.

4:20

Um so looking to um uh put uh seating out in front of where the blue cafe is on the Madison Avenue side.

4:32

Um five feet area will be enough for us to put our tables there, and uh, these about seven and a half or seven feet uh left to walk by.

4:42

There is a bike rack there as well, too.

4:46

Um we may move that um uh at some point.

4:53

Um actually down in front of the architecture office might make a little bit more sense, but for now we're gonna be keeping it.

5:14

That it's not in fantastic condition and needs to be replaced.

5:19

So sometime in the future, the cafe does really well, and we can afford to replace that sidewalk.
