Babski.

10:12

Yes, good morning, Mayor.

10:13

Good morning, City Council members.

10:14

Dina Babski, Director of EED for the city.

10:17

I'm going to keep this presentation or you know, this item real short because we will have the large lease item that we will present on during the city council meeting today.

10:26

So for your consideration, we're bringing forward an agency reimbursement agreement where the redevelopment agency is going to reimburse our tenant, new tenant at Civic Plaza, $600,000 for the tenant improvements that they will put in into the building before their move in date.

10:40

For NRS 279, any work completed that's funded with the RDA funding will require prevailing wage.

10:46

And so that is still the requirement in this agency participation agreement.

10:50

So we will be in compliance there.

11:04

Obviously, is dependent on whether the lease itself is approved during city council meeting.

11:10

So with that, I request your approval for the $600,000 reimbursement for tenant improvements for the tenant uh teriyaki madness at Civic Plaza.

11:20

Thank you very much, Ms.

11:22

Babski.

11:23

Um are there any questions or comments from the agency members.

11:29

Seeing none, is there a motion?

11:31

Councilwoman Diaz.

11:32

Yes, Madam Mayor, thank you so much.

11:34

I know Miss Mabski and her EUD team have been working very hard on uh finding um future tenants for the space across the way, and I know that everyone we love Jimmy Johns, but everyone wants some variety here and there sometimes in their lunch break.

11:49

So with that, I'm gonna move to approve agenda item five.

11:52

Thank you so much.

11:53

Shall we vote?

11:55

Please post.
