The Leesburg Town Council met on May 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber. All council members were present. The meeting included approval of minutes, a presentation on the Keep Leesburg Beautiful event, discussion and votes on several resolutions and contracts, and council disclosures.

Council members raised concerns about using the full amount for a 10-minute performance and the event date (last day of school). After discussion, a motion was made to approve $500 for the artist stipend and $400 for catering/setup, which was accepted and passed.

I would like to make a motion to suspend the rules to add an item under the new business directing staff to amend resolution twenty twenty-five-one seven three, adopting the two thousand twenty-six town council meeting calendar to adjust the meeting dates in August.
