The Leesburg Traffic Commission met on August 4, 2026, to address resident concerns about speeding, sight distance, and traffic safety, review speed study data, receive development updates, and discuss traffic calming policies and future studies. The meeting was held at 11:30 AM.

So they're not aware of uh what we discussed in the field. So we went to C Dar Walk uh circle. Come up here if you don't mind it. So the commission can hear you in. Yeah, like I think that's that's has been working. And so continue with it. So this has been doing all right, been doing all right. Sometimes there are some nights that are traffic on both sides, but which street are where you where are you living? Oh some sorry, Cedar Walk Circle Northeast. Okay, please go. Aside from all that now, um the issue that I have is the uh not being not being able to when we leave our development, just as we're turning left on the Fort Evans, right? On the Fort Evans, that we cannot see traffic coming, and we'll have to pull out in the traffic the sea, and that's that's been an ongoing issue. Yes, in 2020, my wife got hit, even going to work on the morning, and uh the driver was going to enormous amount of no raid speed, and that's another thing going down Fort Evans. A lot of people come down Fort Evans, it's like a race race well, you know. My wife got here, and the driver come on, come on go. And so if there was like any type of way, there's uh take away maybe a parking spot or two that's at the end of this or breaking it up behind you now. So I'll explain so that is from this community, CDAR walk circle. Okay, and uh he is raising his concern about side distance issues exiting the CDAR walk circle and making a left because there are parking spaces. There is a curve extension, I'm sure you hear so when a big vehicle is parked here, then the side distance is limited. Yeah, and as we're coming up, we have to pull out basic main thing in the traffic, and we can't see traffic oncoming traffic coming, and that was how my my wife got hit. And so if there's any type of wage, you can take those two spots away, or put like a stop sign, but one of those flash and stop sides or something, does help slow the traffic down for your request? Let's I'll try to take a look at it. See what's there, but uh as you can see somebody's already aware of this of the street and the parking there. No, the only other issue that I have is this is away from uh Cedar Wall. The traffic is always being blocked all the time. Especially around. Yeah, it is the residential traffic commission cannot do anything about that. You mean the main intersection of market and uh Fort Evan store? Yeah, at the C. Yes, that's because of the congestion. Not Fort Evans.
