Lincoln City Council Regular Meeting - July 15, 2024

The Lincoln City Council met on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. The meeting covered a consent calendar, public hearings for liquor licenses and resolutions, second and third readings of ordinances, first readings of resolutions, and a pending list. • 24R-311: Application of Witches' Brew, LLC for a Class C liquor license at 200 West P Street – adopted for approval 7-0 (A-94682).
• 24R-312: Manager application of Carissa Pschenica for Witches' Brew – adopted for approval 7-0 (A-94683).

• 24R-288: Preliminary Plat No. 24003 amendment by Capitol City Christian Church (reduce lots by 17, change layout) – adopted 7-0 (A-94684).

Ordinances – Second Reading (Items 6.a-6.u)

These items had second reading. For most, no final action was taken on July 15; they were set for subsequent action dates anywhere from later in the meeting to July 22, 2024. Notable exception:

• 24-91 (Change of Zone 16038A for Garner Industries): A verbal motion to suspend the rules to allow third reading and action that date was adopted 7-0; the ordinance then passed 7-0 as ordinance #21625.

Resolutions – First Reading (Items 8.a-8.h)

These items were introduced for first reading and no action was taken on July 15. They include appointments and service agreements for the Minority Health Initiative Grant with several community organizations, the Bethany Land Purchase conformance review, and reappointment of the City Attorney.

Pending List (Items 9.a-9.h)

• All eight items related to the Falcon Corner Redevelopment Project (NW 48th & I-80) were extended one week. These remain on the pending list without a definite action date.
