Lincoln City Council Regular Meeting - February 3, 2025

The Lincoln City Council held a regular meeting on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM, adjourning at 3:33 PM. All 7 council members were present. • 25R-36: Appointed Dan Marvin to the Community Health Endowment Board of Trustees for a term ending September 1, 2027. (Adopted 7-0)
• 25R-42: Set a public hearing for February 24, 2025, at 5:30 PM on the liquor license application for Garage Beers, LLC dba Liquid Assets Sports Bar and Grill at 2755 Jamie Lane, Suite 14-16. (Adopted 7-0)
• Placed on File: Administrative Amendment 25002 to Special Permit 2022 (Pine Lake Heights South 4th Addition) increasing allowed floor area on Lot 17, Block 1 to 28,000 sq ft and total floor area to 231,725 sq ft. Located at NE corner of S 27th Street and Yankee Hill Road.

• 25R-37: Approved the report of new and pending claims against the City for January 1–15, 2025. (Motion to Amend No. 1 adopted 7-0; Adopted as amended 7-0)
• 25R-38: Approved Special Permit 1020J for Bryan Medical Center to allow temporary banner signs at 2300 S 16th Street. (Adopted 7-0)
• 25R-39: Approved Special Permit 1219O for Bryan Medical Center to allow temporary banner signs at 1535 S 52nd Street. (Adopted 7-0)
• 25R-40: Approved Use Permit 24008 for Bryan Medical Center to allow temporary banner signs at 3901 Pine Lake Road. (Adopted 7-0)
• 25R-41: Approved an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Lincoln and Lancaster County for grading and paving of S. 98th Street between A Street and O Street. (Adopted 7-0)

• 25R-24: Directed submittal to voters of a ballot question for the April 8, 2025 primary election to continue the 1/4 cent local sales tax for eight years for street rehabilitation and improvements. (Adopted 7-0)

• 25-2: Amended pay schedule to create the classification “Assistant Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator” (pay range N).
• 25-3: Authorized issuance of General Obligation Stormwater Drainage and Flood Management System Bonds, Series 2025, not to exceed $13,900,000.
• 25-4: Approved a Real Estate Sales Agreement with NeighborWorks, Inc. for sale of City-owned property at 3015 N Street.
• 25-5: Annexation 24010 – Application of Matodol, LLC to annex approximately 45 acres at S. 98th and Van Dorn Streets.
