Lincoln City Council Regular Meeting – January 26, 2026

The Lincoln City Council met on Monday, January 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting included consent agenda items, public hearings on liquor licenses, multiple resolutions and ordinances, and a public comment period. The council adjourned at 6:13 p.m. All members were present except Councilmember Bowers for certain votes.

• 26R-41: Clarified the prior reappointment of Hugh Sieck to the Examining Board of Plumbers for a partial term expiring February 1, 2026, and reappointed him for a term expiring February 1, 2029.
• 26R-42: Approved selecting a contractor and authorizing a construction contract for the Cornhusker Hwy, 39th to L55X Rehabilitation Project using federal transportation funds.
• 26R-43: Approved an Interlocal Agreement with the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District for the Deadmans Run Flood Reduction Project.
• 26R-44: Approved and adopted the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan for eligibility of federal disaster mitigation funds.
