The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance, opening remarks, and unanimous approval of the May 26, 2026 draft minutes. Commissioners disclosed meetings with applicants and stakeholders. The commission voted on all items, forwarding several to work sessions or to the Board of Supervisors with recommendations.
Good evening, everyone. The June twenty third, twenty twenty-six Loudoun County Planning Commission public hearing will now come to order, as is our custom. Let us stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. Members of the public who wish to comment on any item on the public hearing legislative agenda may do so. If you are in the boardroom, please fill out a speaker slip and hand it to the assistant deputy clerk of the planning commission at the end of the day is to my left. If you are participating electronically, please call the number at the bottom of the screen. Each speaker, whether speaking on behalf of an organization or his individual, have three will have three minutes to speak. Written comments may be submitted to the assistant deputy clerk. We'll make copies for the planning commission. The commission may vote on applications tonight and send its recommendation to the board of supervisors or may forward the item to a work session for further consideration before taking a final vote. Ten minute applicant presentation, and commissioners will be given three minutes to ask questions of the applicant. After everyone has had a chance to speak, the hearing is closed. Finally, there will be a motion, deliberation, and vote by the commission. The maker of the motion will have three minutes for opening and closing remarks. On June 17th, I met with Dallas Landing South, the applicant team again. June 17th, I also met with Molly Navotney from for the no this uh 18th. I'm mixing up mine. On June 17th, I met with the owner of intergenerational South Community. On June 18th, I met with uh Mike Romeo for the Foxgate applicant. Uh on June 18th, I met with Dominion Energy on the final writing um application that's in front of us today. On June 18th, I also met with the applicant team for the Loudoun School uh for advanced studies. Thank you. Commissioner Miller. Thank you. On June 11th, I met with the applicant team for Foxgate on June 12. I met with the applicant team for um villager clear springs for the uh Light Tech facility. And then on uh 18 July, I met with the applicant team for the Loudon School for Advanced Studies, and on the same day that met with the applicant team for Dulles Landing South application. And then also on that same day, I met with the Loudoun School for Advanced Studies. This today I had the privilege of also privilege, I guess is the wrong one, but anyway, today I attended the funeral services for Steve DeLong.
